Emily C. Thaller joined Budlong & Budlong in 2015. Her career is focused on all aspects of family law and she frequently represents clients in dissolution of marriage and custody actions, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Attorney Thaller also focuses her practice on probate matters, including the enforcement and challenge of wills, trusts, and estate planning.
Attorney Thaller graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She received her Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law and is licensed to practice before Connecticut’s state courts.
Prior to joining Budlong & Budlong, she served as an intern for the Children’s Law Center in Hartford, Connecticut where she worked closely with attorneys representing indigent children whose parents and family members were engaged in the family law court system. Attorney Thaller also served as a law clerk at a family law firm in Hamden, Connecticut and as a Sappern Fellow in New Haven, Connecticut, where she assisted indigent litigants commence emergency restraining orders, housing, and custody actions.
She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the CBA Young Lawyers Section, and the Quinnipiac University School of Law Alumni Association.
